Overall Duties:
The Fire and Rescue division is accountable for the day to day operations of emergency services to its citizens. Fire personnel respond to calls involving emergency medical assistance, auto accidents, structure fires and major disasters within the fire protection district, while providing mutual aid to the surrounding departments. Apparatus assigned to the Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District are designed to address the wide range of emergency response expected for our area. The members of the department act as an all-hazards response organization that responds to any 911 calls for aid. Their job is to provide comprehensive safety coverage that allows the district to maintain its expected quality of life.
