Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District

Text Box: Board of Directors

The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District is governed by a board of five directors.  They are elected by the community.  We are pleased to introduce our current Board of Directors:

President: Bill Boineau

Bill started as a volunteer with the Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District in 1985.  During his 23+ years as a volunteer, he advanced from the ranks of Firefighter to Battalion Chief.  While a volunteer he was able to also serve on the town liquor commission board for three years, the planning commission for four years, and a town council member for eight years.  Bill is current serving as Mayor for the Snowmass Village town council.  The fire department has shaped Bill’s leadership skills and commitment to the community.

Vice President: Donna Aiken

Donna settles in Snowmass Village in 1970.  Besides the Fire District board she is also a member of the town planning commission, citizens grant review board and the Liquor Licensing Authority.  Donna loves reading, hiking or anything outdoors including working on improving her handicap.

Treasurer: Irene Greiser

Irene is serving her second term on the SWFPD board.  During her first term, she had the pleasure of participating in the process of hiring the new fire chief.  Her ongoing reward is in helping provide vital fire and medical services to the residents and visitors of Snowmass Village as well as planning for the future of the district.  Irene moved to the valley from southern California 34 years ago and for the last eight years has worked at Anderson Ranch Arts Center as Assistant Controller.  Her passions include hiking, skiing, golfing, gardening and spending time with her dog.

Director: Tom Dunlop

Tom has lived in Snowmass Village since 1977.  He retired as a SWFPD firefighter in 2003.  He retired as Pitkin County Environmental Health Director in 2001.  He enjoys time in the outdoors with his wife Lynn, friends and pets.  Public service as a volunteer or elected official is a lifelong commitment.

Director: Brian Olson

Brian arrived in Snowmass Village from Wisconsin in 1980.  He then joined SWFPD in 1984 and served as a Firefighter/EMT for eight years.  In 1987 he joined the Snowmass Village Police Department.  He currently directs patrol operations as the department’s Sergeant.  Brian, his wife and son enjoy skiing, biking and backpacking in the beautiful mountains surround Snowmass Village.
